What Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you provide directly through the website. This typically includes your name, email address, telephone number and any information you choose to share in free-text enquiry or reservation fields, together with the course and course date you are interested in. We also collect limited technical data such as IP address and browser information through standard server logs, security checks and, where you have accepted analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4.
03
Contact Forms
When you submit a contact form on the PRINCE2 Weekends website, the information you provide is used solely to respond to your enquiry, recommend a suitable course and assist with reservations and course confirmation. We do not sell or share enquiry data with third parties for marketing purposes.
04
Course Reservations
When you reserve a place on a course, we use the details you submit to record your reservation against the course date you selected, to contact you about that date, to tell you when the course has been confirmed and to send payment and joining information once it is.
Reservation details are also used for course administration and delivery, including issuing official courseware and examination arrangements through Learners Ink, and for payment, invoicing and accounting records that we are required to keep.
05
Enquiries and Advice Calls
When you arrange a free advice call with Andrew, the information you submit is used to prepare for and conduct the call. Notes from advice calls are retained only where necessary to provide ongoing support or fulfil a subsequent reservation or confirmed course.
06
Email Communications
We use your contact details to reply to enquiries, confirm reservations and confirmed courses, send joining instructions and provide post-course follow-up information. These communications form part of the service you have requested.
07
Marketing Communications
We will only send marketing communications where you have provided clear consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.
08
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following bases under UK GDPR: performance of a contract (for course reservations, confirmation and delivery), legitimate interests (for responding to enquiries and improving our services) and consent (for optional marketing communications).
09
Data Retention
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months after the last interaction. Reservation, confirmation, payment and accounting records are retained for the period required by UK tax and company law (typically 6 years).
10
Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transmission, access controls and reputable third-party service providers. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep risks proportionate and low.
11
Spam and Abuse Protection
Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect this website from spam and abuse. Cloudflare may process technical information required to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. We also retain limited submission metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) for a short period to enforce rate limits and detect abusive activity.
12
Website Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how the website is used.
Google Analytics 4 is fully consent gated. Until you accept analytics cookies, the Google Analytics script is not loaded, no analytics request is made, no Google Analytics cookie is created and no page views or events are sent. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics remains unloaded.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page views and a small number of commercial events that show how the reservation and contact journeys are performing: reserve_click, reservation_start, reservation_selection_change, reservation_submit, contact_click and contact_submit.
The analytics implementation does not intentionally send your name, email address, telephone number or free-text enquiry or reservation content to Google Analytics. Analytics information consists of usage information and pseudonymous technical identifiers. We do not claim that this information is completely anonymous. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time using the Cookie Settings control on this website.
13
Your GDPR Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
